John Ziegler vs Contessa Brewer

As you’ll see from the following video journalists absolutely hate being on the defensive. Contessa Brewer is like all journalists in the regard that they can dish it out but they can’t take it. Please pass this video on to your contacts so they can watch and see what a total joke news reporting in America has become.  -Ed.

YouTube Partners with MOSSAD

It seems that the days of using YouTube as #1 media to distribute documentaries, videos and presentations about the truth of Israel and Zionist and their horrific war-crimes history and terrorism profile, has come to END.

Yesterday, it was announced that YouTube officially connected to the infamous ADL as partner to “Fight Against Hate.”

YouTube has reached out to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for its expertise in dealing with hate on the Internet. In one outgrowth of that partnership, the League is now a contributor to YouTube’s newly launched Abuse & Safety Center, where users are empowered to identify and confront hate, and to report abuses.

The YouTube Abuse & Safety Center features information and links to resources developed by ADL to help Internet users respond to and report offensive material and extremist content that violates YouTube’s Community Guidelines on hate speech…

Over 30 Daily Newspapers for Sale Across US

Across the United States, more than 30 daily newspapers are for sale, and buyers are scarce.

From Los Angeles to New York, leading newspapers have slashed newsrooms with buyout offers, and when those failed to reach budget-cutting goals, with layoffs.

The newspaper industry has been caught in a tailspin for three years, a trend variously blamed on plummeting ad revenues, declining readership, growing competition from the Internet and a deepening national recession.

On Thursday, Colorado’s oldest newspaper joined the growing list of dailies on the market. E.W. Scripps Co., owner of the 149-year-old Rocky Mountain News, offered to sell it after reporting an $11 million loss through the first nine months of this year.

Chapter 13 standoff thwarts foreclosure on St. Petersburg house for years

With the economy tumbling, thousands of Floridians have filed bankruptcies in a last-ditch bid to keep their homes from foreclosure. Among them was 55-year-old Rose King. In the end, she was unable to save her home, but it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying.

Between 1999 and last January, King filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection eight times — a move that kept lenders from forcing the sale of her St. Petersburg bungalow. And when she finally moved out in March, she took everything, including the kitchen sink.

“She lived two years for free, I can tell you that,” says Kelly Goff, who held the most recent mortgage and had to schedule foreclosure sales four times. “I’ve never had anything like it, and I’ve had hundreds of loans. It’s luck of the draw that I happened to get somebody who knew how to abuse the system and used it.”

King, who until recently made $75,000 a year breeding schnauzers, insists she did nothing wrong.

“I didn’t abuse it,” she says. “I just used what was available to me by law.”

Why We Need an Alternative Mass Media

headshot3.jpgby John Ubele

I often hear people complain about the mass media and how it manipulates news to further its agenda. I have to agree that their comments are justified. Unfortunately not enough people realize how powerful a role the mass media plays in shaping public opinion.

The real injustice in America today is that its most vital institution the one which we get all of our news and entertainment from, the mass media, has its control held in too few hands. What our nation needs is to have this media power in the hands of many people, tens of thousands of them. On top of that this control must be truly representative of the population, something which it is certainly not today.

Many people don’t understand that media outlets, whether newspaper, radio, or television are almost always privately held businesses. These outlets are governed by very loose standards in regard to the way they portray the news. Media outlets aren’t concerned with getting the facts out rather their concern is about how they can shape stories to further their agenda.

The media has an unbelievable amount of power to manipulate the public to support or oppose a particular idea or political candidate. This is something that all Americans must realize. Because until we do we will continue to be cheated out of having honest and responsible people elected to political office.

The following video gives a brief explanation on how the Council on Foreign Relations controls the mass media in the United States.

Ron Paul is a perfect example of someone who went against the media’s agenda. He is a strict Constitutionalist who wanted to take power from the government and give it back to the people. His ideas weren’t shared by the operators of the mass media and as can be expected he was attacked by them. The media ignored Paul’s campaign until he started getting a significant amount of grassroots support.

The more money that Paul’s campaign raised the more the media attacked him. Many media outlets worked incessantly to paint Paul as an unstable loon. The following is just a small sample of the types of hit pieces created by the mass media to discredit Paul’s campaign:

by Aaron Sharockman

…Paul, a 72-year-old pro-gun, antiabortion, antiwar, anti- Medicare, libertarian-leaning constitutionalist, should by most objective measures be a presidential afterthought by now.

National polls place him in the GOP’s bottom tier, with between 1 percent and 2 percent support. His base partly consists of – in no particular order – people who want prostitution legalized, taxpayers who oppose paying taxes, a white supremacist running for the Florida state House, and those who think the Sept. 11 attacks were a government conspiracy…

What Paul Is Running For

The kooky doctor

By Mona Charen

November 15, 2007

…Ron Paul is the favorite candidate of a number of racist, neo-Nazi and conspiracist websites. While Paul cannot be held accountable for the views of cranks and kooks, he can disavow their support and return their checks. He received $500 from Don Black, the proprietor of and former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. He has not yet returned it…

…Moreover, Paul seems to be playing a sly game with his conspiracy-minded fans. He does not explicitly endorse the crazier theories out there, but he hints at dark forces in the U.S. government threatening our liberties, he inveighs against the “neo-cons” (shorthand for Jews in some circles) and he gives aid and comfort to the paranoid by appearing on their favorite radio shows…

It is hard to believe that the media acted in this way, but they did. They have attacked many patriotic candidates throughout our nation’s history and they show no sign of changing their course.

Recently I watched a documentary called, “Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism”. It is a very educational video about how Murdoch’s News Corp manipulates news to advance their agenda. It is a safe bet that nearly all of the major media outlets operate in a way similar to the way News Corp is portrayed in this film. I strongly encourage you to watch it and forward it to your family and friends.

The solution to America’s mass media affliction is obvious we need a practical alternative to it. There are many things that we can do to combat the media’s stranglehold on our nation’s psyche such as blogging, writing stories, creating videos for internet distribution and a host of other media building activities.

A vital part to creating a media alternative is to further develop your writing skills. The following books will help you in this endeavor: the Associated Press Guide to News Writing, the Associated Press Guide to Punctuation, and the Associated Press Stylebook.

After you have refined your writing ability then you will want to create a blog. The following are free blogsites:

I cannot promise you that developing an alternative mass media will be easy because it won’t. It will require a sincere commitment along with a considerable amount of work and sacrifice. But what I can promise you is that you will find it rewarding knowing that you are fully exercising your first ammendment rights.
